Week 24 2019
Time for the first guests to arrive, and hopefully the good fishing will continue.
The Danish crew came to the lodge on Sunday and were really looking forward to the week. They got ready, and fished hard the first few days, but the sunny weather had made the fish a bit inactive, but then the water started to rise and the salmon started to show.
Niels was the first to land a fish, after some lost. He hooked this good fish in the lower part of Island pool. Then Anders showed the way, with landing this beauty from Island pool. And that showed that the fish were active again, and we would see a lot of action this week.
Thomas had a hard week! He lost 4 fish and he felt the salmon depression sneaking in on him, but in the end of the week he landed this amazing fish and he had a huge smile for the rest of the week.
Olivier came all the way from Switzerland and had never been above the arctic circle or seen the midnight sun. He got what he came for, with both midnight sun and a Baltic Chromer.
In the end of the week the group landed 6 fish and lost an impressive 12 fish, we hope they will switch these numbers next year!
Now we are looking forward to the next group to arrive.
