Last week our group sadly canceled because of covid-19. We moved them to next year and cross fingers that they will have a good week in 2022. We tried our best to find someone that would come fish Kengis since the fishing had been really good, but no one could come with such a short notice. Fortunately for us our good friend Frantz was in Kangos for the week and they came down to fish Kengis for some days. Frantz and his friend Pascal had some good days i Kengis with 5 landed fish and some lost in only two days. Fantastic.

Read about the days here;

After one blank year without having the possibility to travel abroad, it was a genuine pleasure to come back to Kengis and fish it for 2 days. We were lucky enough to get some rain which triggered some activity.

Although the water level was really low we had the chance to catch a few salmon that really looked fresh and in good conditions.
Once again Kengis proved it self to be an ideal place to fish: We could fish it all way long, walk along the bank and avoid fishing only the holes like desperate guys … we don’t like fishing like heron and Kengis offered us the opportunity to find the currents!

It was my 3rd time there and Pascal’s first time, I think we can say we will come back again for sure.

Now we are looking forward to the last weeks of the season. Conditions looks good and we still have many fish in the river. We cross fingers for a good ending.
