Week 32 - Welcome to the Kengis family
Week 32 we welcomed a full group of new fly fishermen to Kengis Bruk.
It is a pleasure welcoming new friends and this week we even had a junior fisher at Kengis. All in all a promising week for the Kengis feeling, but fishing was difficult. Warm water, not many fish moving and difficult conditions.
All our guests did all they could, fished all the water and had flies swinging all the time, so they worked hard, but this time without the reward.
Fishing baltic salmon is difficult and in times like these with less fish rising it's even more difficult, but then it is good to see smiles on the faces when you are at the river.
Remembering the good things like coffee, a good fire and a laugh with your friends.
All fish are special, but the times with your friends are just as important and something you will maybe remember for a longer time. How many times have you said the phrase “do you remember when?” And then a good story.
Good experiences are important and will be with you for a long time.
We hope to welcome you all back again for a Kengis revenge and hopefully better conditions!
Next week is looking colder and we hope the fish will start being active again.
Tight lines.
