Week 30 - How do you find a phone in the river?

This week we had a great visit from our Swiss friends.

To see friendly faces back at our lodge year after year is great. You kind of get a family feeling. Everyone is a part of the Kengis family.

Good food, smiles, long nights, swimming, swinging flies, looking at fish showing, a great fire and fantastic stories told.

Everything you need to have a great week with your fishing friends, just a small detail is missing.

The Baltic salmon. It was there, but not in the mood to strike any flies. Low and warm water made it difficult to get any action.

And sometimes booking a week a year in advance is a lottery and you never know what conditions you are facing.

This one was a hard one, but then it's good that you are in good company.

And for the funny story of the week. One of our guests dropped his phone in the water and they could not find it. Gone. But somehow they could still call it (waterproof tested to the max), so 24hrs later they flew a drone in the night over the area and when they called the phone they could see it. Smart thinking and what a commercial that could have been.

Thank you guys for being a part of the Kengis family.

Next week is looking better, and hopefully the water temperature will drop and the fish will start to be active again.
