July 2016 update

The fantastic fishing we had experienced in June continued in the early weeks of July with runs of fresh fish coming thick and fast one after each other, it certainly seems as though this season is full of healthy fish between 10 - 20 lbs with the odd big fish trickling through, either that or we have been unlucky not to find any of the big ones so far!

As the month progressed high air temperature and dropping river levels have made the fishing very tough, there is certainly no lack of holding fish at Kengis right now, but tempting any of them to the fly is trying everyones patience. Hopefully we see a respite to the prolonged intensity of the sun and get a big rise in water soon!
